Carl Triemstra is president of TFA/Leo Burnett Technology Group’s flagship office in Chicago. In this capacity, he manages the Chicago agency’s daily operations and directs all strategic client development activities.

Before joining TFA/Leo Burnett in 1998, Mr. Triemstra spent four years as vice president of sales and marketing for Profile Systems, a wireless communications start-up firm. In addition to being responsible for all sales, marketing and customer support functions, Mr. Triemstra worked with a variety of advertising and market research firms to assist in the development of the company’s marketing communications plans and the identification of new market opportunities.

Prior to his work with Profile Systems, Mr. Triemstra spent nine years at IBM, holding positions of increasing responsibility. Most recently the marketing manager for new business and sales development, he directed a 32-person sales organization that achieved revenue targets and brought on over 400 new clients in the manufacturing and distribution industries. During his tenure with IBM, he earned a General Manager’s Award for outstanding leadership and teamwork.

Mr. Triemstra received a B.S. in chemical engineering from the University of Michigan and earned an M.B.A. in general management from the Illinois Institute of Technology, Stuart School of Management.
