Position Title: Associate Planner
Department: Account Planning
Job Summary:
Our Associate Planner will get hands on experience conceiving, creating, executing, and delivering on projects designed to deliver insights about the brand and the target. Beyond consistent execution, you will be looked to as a source of creative ideas and approaches regarding brand and consumer issues. Expected to contribute to creative briefs (honing brief craftsmanship), as well as work to develop relationships with their counterparts on the brand team. Ideal candidate will be a graduate of a reputable university with high marks. An advanced degree is not required, though if the candidate has plans to eventually attend graduate school, this is a big plus. The candidate should have some work experience, either as an intern or as a first-job experience out of school. This work may have been completed on the client side or agency side. The ideal candidate will exhibit an affinity and desire to develop a career path around representing target audience insight creatively, while approaching problems through research/analytically.
Candidate must be able to show written work examples that prove business and creative acumen. These examples may take the form of theses or internship work. In their conversation about these pieces, they must exhibit understanding of the problem they solved.
Suitable candidates should exhibit a personal level of maturity and poise, and enjoy teamwork. They must view this position as an apprenticeship and be generally excited by the opportunity to learn from senior team members.
Job Responsibilities:
An Associate Planner will be expected to perform or manage the following functions as required by client plans:
RESEARCH
- Competitive Analyses: pull competitor information from Web using various techniques and perform cursory positioning and other analysis
- Internal Customer Analyses: perform field research talking with customers and prospects; manage contractors to assist with same
- Focus Group and Other Field Research: organize and recruit
- Management of Analyst and Other Secondary Research: obtain analyst research, determine analysts responsible for different technology concerns
- Any of the deliverables in the TFA Research Toolkit
OTHER RESEARCH DELIVERABLES

Position Title: Associate Planning Director

Job Summary:
The Associate Planning Director is the visionary leader across all businesses on which they work. Constitute the leadership of the businesses to which they are assigned. Responsible for anticipating and driving the long-term issues that will add value by way of fresh and insightful perspective regarding the consumer and their relationships to the brand. Should have strong relationships with the other leaders of the brand teams as well as with key Client decision-makers. They are responsible for overseeing the career development of the individuals in their group, including Senior Planners, Planners and Associate Planners. Position Title: Account Supervisor

Job Summary:
As an Account Supervisor, you will be responsible for the relationship between the Agency and Client. You will lead and manage the Agencys resources to ensure that the Agency is prepared at all times to meet the Clients marketing and advertising needs. He/she will provide the team with solid perspective and leadership in the development of outstanding advertising; and has an overall responsibility for excellence in the Agencys product. CLIENT MANAGEMENT AND BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

The Assistant Account Executive assists the Account Executive in the execution of plans, the collection of analysis of information, and the coordination and logistic of account projects in all departments. He/she is responsible for the mechanics of the account and for implementing the technical activities required for its success. He/she starts to develop relationships with some clients and will be responsible for filling in on projects in absence of the Account Executive. The Graphic Designer produces art for Art Directors comps and final films. He/she is expected to support Art/Copy teams to bring concept elements to visual fruition. This includes illustration, computer illustration, photo retouching and typography. A background in production/electronic pre-press is required for print, tradeshow, outdoor, etc. We require at least two years or more of experience demonstrating your skill with desktop/electronic prepress and design.
