BOSTON--TFA/Leo Burnett Technology Group has been named agency of record for Allaire. The Cambridge, Mass., software company chose TFA's Boston office for a $2 million business-to-business marketing and branding assignment after a review that included Harpell/ Martins & Co. in Maynard, Mass., and Frankfurt Balkind in New York. Incumbent Partners & Simons in Boston did not participate.

Allaire has created Web applications for companies such as Reebok and Kodak. TFA has been on a two-month winning streak that includes assignments from CMGI subsidiaries MSGI and Navisite, an agency representative said. For more than a year, TFA has served as agency of record for CMGI, Andover, Mass., an Internet holding company. --Lauren Wiley
