From his unique perch as a former NBA talent evaluator and having served on an NBA coaching staff, Lash works with each of our LSR athletes to optimize their individual performance on an ongoing basis. Lash joined LSR in 2006 from the Denver Nuggets, where he served for close to five years in a variety of capacities, including as the organization's Scouting Coordinator. Lash was involved in all facets of NBA draft preparation, including player evaluation from pre-draft workouts, scouting of college players and draft-day war room. During Lash's tenure, the Nuggets drafted 10 players, including three lottery picks.
A former member of George Karl's coaching staff, Lash was actively involved in the on-court player development of players such as Carmelo Anthony, Marcus Camby, Andre Miller and Nene. Lash learned a great deal about player development by working alongside renowned Denver Nuggets' assistant coach Tim Grgurich. During his time as a basketball coach, Lash has also worked on the court with other NBA standouts, including Lebron James, Sebastian Telfair, Randy Foye and Raymond Felton.
Prior to joining the Denver Nuggets, Lash spent four years as the scouting and marketing director for Five-Star Basketball Camps. While at Five-Star, he established lucrative marketing deals with major shoe, apparel, and accessory companies such as Tommy Hilfiger, and entertainment companies such as Loud Records.
Lash earned B.S. in Sports Management from the University of Massachusetts.
