NECX INC. HIRES TFA/LEO BURNETT TECHNOLOGY GROUP FOR BRANDING INITIATIVES AFTER FORMAL REVIEW
Boston, MA - February 2, 1999 - TFA/Leo Burnett Technology Group, Bostons largest marketing communications agency serving New Englands high technology industry, was recently awarded a branding assignment for NECX Exchange. TFA/Leo Burnett Technology Group will manage the companys new corporate branding initiative, supporting the NECX Exchange line of business. The agency will implement a fully integrated marketing communications program and provide ongoing strategic counsel, in addition to creating brand definition.
NECX is an independent distributor of over 200 million computer products and components and is headquartered in Peabody, Mass. The privately held company, with sales over $400M, has two separate lines of business - NECX Direct, the online computer store, and NECX Exchange, a global exchange of semiconductor components and computer and networking products.
