Christen Graham believes that at the heart of every good public relations campaign is a good story. She will work to find a compelling anecdote or illustrative metaphor to express a client's message in a way that engages the audience, whether that's a reporter, a customer or employees. She has successfully arranged for The Wall Street Journal, New York Times, Good Morning America, CNN, Brandweek and scores more regional and trade media to relay her client stories. She represents consumer, health and business to business interests with equal fervor and success.
Previously Manager for Public Relations at Tufts University's School of Arts, Sciences and Engineering, Christen raised the school's profile by redirecting its media placements into the national and international arena and organizing events of national interest. The increased visibility led to local and federal government support for university initiatives.
Prior to a career in public relations, Christen spent ten years as a journalist. As a producer, reporter and assignment editor, she directed live coverage of such breaking news/special events as the Boston Marathon, crash of TWA flight 800 and presidential campaigns. She has been an assignment editor at three of Boston's television newsrooms and in the early 1990's operated her own radio program covering Massachusetts political news. She began her career as a radio reporter at WHCU-AM in Ithaca, New York.
Christen graduated from Tufts University with bachelors degrees in English and Middle Eastern History. Christen manages our Portland, Maine office.
